Role Purpose Statement


This position is a key member of the Sales and Services team, responsible for managing transactional pricing strategies for major airline accounts. The Pricing Manager plays a pivotal role in developing and maintaining customer-specific pricing models, ensuring precise cost validation, and optimizing profitability through data-driven financial analysis and strategic pricing initiatives.

This role requires close collaboration with Finance, Sales, and Program Management teams to execute pricing updates, maintain contractual compliance, and identify revenue growth opportunities. With a strong emphasis on customer-centricity, analytical rigor, and continuous improvement, the Pricing Manager ensures pricing strategies align with market dynamics, operational efficiencies, and long-term business objectives.



By leveraging financial insights, competitive benchmarking, and cross-functional partnerships, this position drives pricing excellence and margin optimization while supporting key initiatives that enhance both financial performance and customer satisfaction.

Main Accountabilities


Strategic Pricing & Revenue Management

  • Develop and implement customer-specific pricing models and revenue strategies to enhance competitiveness.
  • Define pricing for new and modified products/services, ensuring alignment with market dynamics.
  • Execute price proposals and RFQ/RFP responses for both new and existing business opportunities.
  • Maintain and optimize margin recovery, identifying opportunities for revenue growth and cost efficiency.

Financial & Data Analysis


  • Generate Profit & Loss (P&L) calculations in partnership with Finance and Operations.
  • Conduct audits to validate cost inputs and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Support the annual budgeting process, providing insights into projected revenue and cost trends.
  • Perform ad-hoc impact analyses to support customer strategies and business decisions.

Operational & Contractual Pricing Execution

  • Implement regular contractual price updates, including cyclical adjustments and food cost updates.
  • Maintain and update Master Price Lists (MPL) in collaboration with Sales and Program Management.
  • Perform retro billing summaries, invoice corrections, and cost sheet audits to ensure accuracy.

Collaboration & Leadership


  • Work closely with customers and Customer Service Center (CSC) representatives to resolve pricing and billing issues.
  • Participate in customer menu presentations, validating specifications and pricing accuracy.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on pricing principles, financial analysis, and business strategies.
  • Coach and mentor team members, fostering expertise and continuous improvement in pricing processes.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field required
  • 5+ years of experience in pricing strategy, revenue management, financial analysis, or commercial strategy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills to execute data analysis and financial modeling required).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows-based applications.
  • SAP Material Management (MM) experience preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
  • Proven experience in data-driven decision-making and pricing optimization
  • Industry experience (e.g., aviation, food service, logistics, or manufacturing) can be advantageous
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau for pricing analytics and forecasting
  • Strategic mindset, attention to detail, and excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
