Manufacturing Supervisor – 3rd Shift

THE WORK

As a manufacturing supervisor within the Avionics Product Center, you will oversee a team of hourly operators across multiple business units in Stratford, CT. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the assembly, testing, and control of in-process and finished goods meet company standards, government regulations, and contract requirements. You will:
• Manage daily operations to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Assist in developing and managing budgets, staffing, and training programs.
• Participate in management meetings to discuss daily operating needs and communicate across shifts.
• Lead daily team meetings to communicate company objectives and business updates.
• Ensure a safe working environment through regular Environmental, Health, and Safety audits.
• Promote an ethics-based business culture and encourage employee involvement and innovation.

Basic Qualifications:
– Experience within a manufacturing environment.

-4+ years of relevant experience

-SAP or similar ERP experience
Desired Skills:
– Experience in the electronics industry

– Familiarity with ISO/AS9100

– Proven experience in a fast paced environment

— B.S. or B.A. degree, preferably in a technical discipline

–Experience supervising a represented workforce

– Prior Sikorsky experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
