Description:This is a Hybrid Telework opportunity. These job requirements allow the employee to work at a Lockheed Martin-designated office or job site for part of their schedule and has a predefined regular, recurring telework schedule for the remaining part of their work schedule.

THE WORK
As a key member of the Maritime Systems Business Development team, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to grow our business pipeline with international Navy and Coast Guard customers. You’ll lead critical pursuit capture activities, support the integration of Sikorsky solutions, and contribute to the development of long-range strategies.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for the Maritime Systems market segment in alignment with organizational objectives.
2. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a diverse team to ensure alignment with strategic priorities, foster talent development, and drive high performance.
3. Opportunity Management: Oversee the management of international opportunity pipeline, ensuring timely and effective capture of new business opportunities.
4. Customer Engagement: Develop and execute customer engagement plans to build strong relationships, understand customer needs, and position Sikorsky solutions effectively with both international militaries as well as the Navy International Program Office, Defense Security Cooperation Agency and the MH-60R Program Office.
6. Decision Making: Participate in New Business Fund (NBF) decision-making processes, providing strategic insights and recommendations based on market analysis and opportunity assessment.
7. Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary internal and external contact for International Maritime Systems, building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to optimize solutions and drive business success.

Basic Qualifications:
• 8-15 Years Experience on defense acquisitions (FMS and DCS) both from industry and customer perspective.
• Working technical and domain knowledge about military requirements.
• 8-15 Years experience with business efforts such as opportunity qualification, proposals, campaigns, and strategy planning
• Cross functional team experience on programs and/or proposals
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken with emphasis on the Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of potential international customers and demonstrated customer relations skills.
• Awareness of the DoD budgeting and acquisition process.
• Team Player – effective at organizing and motivating a diverse set of individuals in pursuit of common objectives.
Desired Skills:
• Prior experience within Navy or US Coast Guard including prior MH-60R experience
• Familiarity with Maritime Systems platforms including MH-60R/S, MH-60T, and mission systems
•Prior experience with International Business Development
• Strong capture leadership skills with demonstrated ability to work cross Lines of Business and even across different Business Areas
• Ability to manage New Business Funds
• Executive presence / comms skills – ability to brief customer / LM leadership

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $151,200 – $266,570. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $173,900 – $301,415. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
