Description:This position will support electrical and electronic component evaluations, failure analysis activities, and related instrumentation. Background in electrical component engineering and electronic materials and processes (soldering, breadboard instrumentation, and testing automation through MatLab, LabView, or similar systems preferred.
This position allows for hands-on aerospace hardware and process experience for an Electrical Engineer within the M&P/Failure Analysis Laboratory. The primary job responsibility will be the evaluation of materials, hardware and electrical / electronic components. Many of the tasks will be to determine root cause for failure analysis investigations. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with internal and external customers to research, document, and report findings. The individual will be assigned varied tasks with direction from a senior laboratory lead engineer. The candidate will be responsible for managing assigned tasks and performing required analysis, organize results, and prepare a coherent technical presentation or report. Teamwork is required due to the range of work required on the timelines provided.
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
-Coursework/experience in electrical instrumental analysis and laboratory practices
Desired Skills:
-Knowledge using electrical instrumental for analysis
-Strong verbal and organizational skills
-Understanding of AC and DC electronic circuits
-Strong communication and computer skills.
-Experience with NI Labview or equivalent
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week
