Join our dynamic team as a Supportive Mental Health Services Professional at the brand-new Article 31 Behavioral Health Clinic. As a medical assistant you will provide compassionate patient focus and superior customer service -keeping our fast-paced environments running smoothly. Coordinate appointments and perform general clerical duties at the unit nursing station to assure the timely, efficient and accurate flow of patient information. Assist Practitioners and Management by performing blood draws and taking vital signs of patients in clinic. Welcome and direct visitors and hospital colleagues to appropriate areas. Cultivate a courteous and respectful demeanor while multitasking between people and responsibilities.

This is a full-time, Monday-Friday 8:30AM – 4:30PM, day shift position located at a 343 4th Ave Behavioral Health Practice.

Preferred Criteria

• Certification as Medical Assistant
• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma or GED
• Successful completion of an approved Medical Assistant program
• Candidate must possess excellent judgment, communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure and deal effectively with all levels of staff
• Superior customer service skills and a strong commitment to providing an outstanding patient experience
