Medical Physicist Assistant (MPA) – Full Time

The Medical Physicist Assistant (MPA) performs tasks in support of the qualified medical physicists (QMP) within the Department of Radiation Oncology. Responsibilities of the MPA include routine clinical quality assurance (patient-specific and subset of linear accelerator performance), assisting the medical physicist in commissioning equipment, QA equipment management, support of clinical trial data collection & submission, and associated report and record generation.

This is a full time position, working 10:00am – 6:00pm

Required Criteria

• B.S. or B.A. in physics, medical physics or related field, or graduate of a JCERT-accredited program in radiation therapy or equivalent
• Demonstrate competency in performing requisite tasks via the Department’s continuous credentialing program for MPAs.
• Knowledge of Radiation Physics
• Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills

Salary Range:

$85,000-$115,000/Annual
