What does an Merchant Success Manager do?

The Collinson Valuedynamx operating company delivers relevant consumer value in several unique ways, inclusive of supplying and managing card-linked offers on behalf of our loyalty, travel, hospitality, and financial institution clients for the benefit of their members and customers while delivering ROI for merchant partners. We operate globally and have a growing US business. This role is focused on supporting the growth of our US Card Linked Offers Merchant network.

Merchants agree to participate in a points-earning or cash-back ecosystem by funding cost-per-sale commission-based campaigns. In return, the merchant is featured across a number of widely distributed, exclusively managed loyalty programs with unique marketing capabilities that drive incremental sales, greater consumer spends, and increased brand affinity.

The Merchant Success Manager will have specific accountability in several key areas that will support the growth and success of the CLO merchant network in turn delivering overall program success:

  1. Manage, optimize, and grow value from Valuedynamx US-based merchant relationships and campaigns
  2. Work in-tandem with Valuedynamx CLO Merchant Sales team to ensure accurate pipeline and campaign performance reporting, accelerate merchant onboarding processes, and communicate partner growth opportunities
  3. Support cross-departmental functions between finance, operations, product, client services, data science, and marketing
  4. Act as liaison between Merchants, Merchant Sales Team, and program Partners to optimize Valuedynamx’ unique network of content and publisher providers

As our card-linked offer network of merchants and publishers grows in size and scale, the need to identify and align the objectives of Merchant and Advertiser partners with those of our program partners becomes ever more important. This role will be instrumental in growing key success measures for our merchant partners to unlock the value from our unique network of publisher clients.

Streamlining Valuedynamx processes, matching program growth to merchant and advertiser objectives and driving innovation and optimization strategies for the benefit of our CLO merchant partners is a key requirement of the role and will have executive-leadership-level visibility.
