Responsibilities

Mayo Clinic Florida is seeking a Level II Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their Radiation Oncology department, specializing in the treatment of benign indications such as osteoarthritis. This position involves leading a clinic focused on low-dose radiation therapy for non-malignant conditions, under the supervision of a treating MD. The APP will conduct consultations, manage treatment plans, and follow-up visits, contributing to innovative patient care in a multidisciplinary setting. Mayo Clinic Florida is dedicated to remaining a progressive early adopter of utilizing radiation in innovative ways, and this role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of advancements in benign radiation therapy.



Mayo Clinic Florida is seeking a Level II Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their Radiation Oncology department, specializing in CNS and Head and Neck cancer follow-up care. This position involves conducting post-treatment consultations, managing ongoing care plans, and coordinating follow-up visits for patients who have undergone radiation therapy for CNS and Head and Neck cancers. The APP will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including radiation oncologists, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive and continuous care for patients. Mayo Clinic Florida is committed to providing exceptional patient care and advancing treatment methodologies, making this role an exciting opportunity for an APP to contribute to innovative cancer care.

Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner: Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current State (MN/WI/FL/AZ) RN and APRN license and certification as a FNP, ANP, ACNP, PNP, NNP, PMHNP, etc.



Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the State (MN/WI/FL/AZ) State Board of Medical Practice.

Additional Qualifications:


Active BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross at start date and DEA registration required
