Patent Prosecution Associate

Career Consulting Partners has partnered with a globally renowned law firm with over 500 attorneys and 1,000 employees. We are assisting them in their search for an I.P. – Patent Prosecution Associate. You will work on high-profile deals in the technology and life sciences sectors while collaborating with industry-leading attorneys. This role is ideal for someone who is driven, thrives in high-stakes deal-making, and wants to grow within a top-ranked M&A practice

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 2+ years of patent experience with a focus on technology and life sciences.
• Expertise and background in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, data science, or physics is preferred.
• Must obtain a USPTO registration number.
• Admission to the Bar in the jurisdiction where the work is being performed is required. 
• A member (or eligible to be a member of) the bar of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office is preferred. 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Top law school credentials with excellent academic performance.
• Active CA BAR membership or eligibility to waive in.
• Detail-oriented and excellent oral/written skills.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with clients and internal teams in a fast-paced environment.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Salary: $230,000 – $380,000
• Healthcare, Life Insurance, Health Savings Accounts, Flexible Spending Accounts, and Wellbeing
• A discretionary bonus for eligible employees may also be available based on performance
