Shift |
Positions available are 12.5 hour shifts. Three consecutive 12.5 shifts working followed by 4 days/evenings off.
Shift available: Will be cross-trained for Chandler, Good Samaritan and EmPATH ED Registration areas. Training will be Monday – Friday 7p-3a (training is between 3-5 weeks). Will be required to attend New Employee Orientation which is held on a Monday from 8a-4:30p. On-call staff may have the opportunity to advance to a full time position if desired. On-call positions is a great way to get your foot in the door at UKHC ED Registration Department. Possibilities are unlimited. |
Job Summary |
Position includes the following:
– Arriving and Updating/Registration of Emergency Department patients -Copay/payment collection at time of service -Customer Service |
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities |
High level of keyboarding accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to maintain calm during stressful situations and provide excellent customer service. Ability to effectively prioritize work. Must have schedule flexibility.

Preferred Education/Experience |
Prior patient registration experience preferred. Customer service background such as retail, call center, hospitality, etc., also very helpful.
