JOB SUMMARY: The Player Development Executive assists in developing gaming customers; maintains rapport and hosts current players and provides them with special amenities.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Establish and maintain positive customer relationships with VIP players.
- Identifies, attracts, and maintains close ties with targeted guests through personal contact, by phone and in person.
- Effectively use phone-calls, emails, text messages, and written correspondence to keep contact with players to invite to various on and off-property events.
- Consistently exceed the needs of guests by booking hotel, event, show, transportation, and dining reservations.
- Positively promote property and company-wide promotions, events, and amenities to guests.
- Issue complimentaries or other offers to guests while using discretion based on play and property guidelines.
- Organizes and participates in off-property functions such as dinners, cocktail parties, golf tournaments, etc.
- Maintain confidentiality of both customer and company information.
- Strive to achieve and exceed bench-mark goals/objectives set by management.
- Responsible for generating casino revenue through development of VIP accounts while maximizing existing revenue streams.
- Increase guest database by building loyalty among valued VIP customers by networking and receiving referrals on new potential players.
- Assist special events during VIP events.
- Assists in developing invitation lists for special events and in planning the events.
- Conveys terms of programs and explains qualifications to prospective gaming customers.
- Fully complies with all applicable rules, regulations, laws and policies, Code of Commitment and conducts themselves with highest levels of integrity and honesty on and off property.
- Assist players with opening or increasing credit lines on property or within the brand.
- Provide information to property leadership related to guest feedback, suggestions, concerns, or issues.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 2 year Associate’s college degree; Bachelor’s Degree or comparable experience preferred
- Minimum of 5 years in gaming, marketing or public relations
- Customer service and telemarketing experience required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Literacy and fluency in English
- Enjoys being with people and has the ability to make each guest feel special
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to be creative and innovative in guest satisfaction
- Ability to solve guests’ problems to their satisfaction while protecting Harrah’s interests
- Must possess strong relationship building skills and demonstrate the ability to influence at all levels
- Must be able to work flexible hours.
- Must be able to maintain composure and excellent guest relations under all circumstances.
- Ability to maintain strictest confidence regarding all information concerning Caesars Entertainment
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
- Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.
- Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures
PHYSICAL, MENTAL and ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time (4 hours).
- Must be able to move in and around on the casino floor quickly.
- Must be able to respond calmly and handle many customer demands in a fast paced environment.
- Visual and auditory range must include immediate environment.
- Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.
- Must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, and kneel
- Ability to grasp, finger dexterity, use repetitive hand motion
Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment.
