Job Description:

The Powder Coating Painter is responsible for surface preparation, mixing and applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on metal components.

What you’ll be doing:

• Abrading surfaces of metal or hard composition objects to remove scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt, ensuring a specified finish.
• Shoveling or pouring abrasives such as sand, grit, or shot into machine hoppers as required.
• Selecting premixed paints or mixing pigment, oil, and thinning/drying substances to match specified colors.
• Prepping products before and after painting, including using power spray guns proficiently.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 1-year previous Industrial Powder Coating painting experience required, at least 6 months of previous experience.
• Ability to pass a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) and be fitted for and wear a respirator.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and engage in physically active work.
