In this role you will work remotely from a home office.

As a Procurement Business Partner for Indirect Materials, you will:


  • Assist in procurement processes: quotations, statements of work, contract extensions, vendor set-up, and strategic support for Siemens RFQ.
  • Promote efficient use of procurement tools and digital practices.
  • Develop and execute stakeholder management strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Assist in setting the strategic vision for the procurement team.
  • Collaborate with commodity managers on strategy and priorities.
  • Support Supplier Management: qualification, selection, evaluation, development, and classification.
  • Work closely with internal Siemens customers for early involvement and customer care.
  • Implement commodity strategies for cost-efficient, long-term supply.
  • Ensure use of defined procurement methods, processes, and systems for efficiency and compliance.
  • Monitor market conditions to optimize sourcing strategies and collaborate with top suppliers.
  • Prepare and conduct negotiations for medium to high purchasing volumes to achieve maximum savings.
  • Generate, document, and implement savings to support Siemens’ business success.
  • Manage or assist in contracting: negotiate prices, terms, and renewals with domestic and international suppliers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Business or with a business focus.
  • 4-8 years of experience with system and process orientation: Advanced skills in Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of procurement, governance, and compliance.
  • Experience in negotiating requirements and analyzing purchase volume.
  • Flexibility for domestic or international travel up to 20%.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • 5 years of procurement experience, including Indirect Materials.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Strong desire to promote positive change.
  • Clear and concise communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with multiple customers/divisions.
  • Self-driven and resourceful, both independently and in groups.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to influence at all organizational levels and across functions.
  • Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP).
  • Experience in a multinational corporation.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and market trends.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with contract and supplier relationship management.
  • Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

The pay range for this position is $65,660 –$112,560 and the annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
