Those in goods, products and services procurement at PwC will focus on executing, managing and optimising purchase processes and some supplier relationship management. You will be responsible for assisting the organisation in obtaining quality goods at the appropriate price, driving cost savings and operational efficiency.

The Opportunity
As part of the Infrastructure-Procurement-Strategy & Sourcing team you are expected to develop, implement, and execute procurement strategies. As a Senior Manager you are expected to lead large projects and innovate processes, focusing on achieving results and maintaining operational excellence. You are expected to interact with clients at a senior level and drive overall project success, leveraging your influence, knowledge, and network to deliver quality results. You are expected to motivate and coach others, coming together to solve complex problems, and apply sound judgment, recognizing when to take action and when to escalate.
Responsibilities
– Develop and implement procurement strategies
– Lead significant projects and innovate operational processes
– Engage with clients at a senior level to confirm project success
– Leverage proficiency and network for quality outcomes
– Inspire and coach teams to address complex challenges
– Exercise sound judgment in decision-making and escalation
– Maintain operational excellence and achieve results
– Build and sustain top-performing, inclusive teams
What You Must Have
Bachelor’s Degree
– 5 years of experience
– At least 7 years of procurement experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree
What Sets You Apart
– Broad experience in procurement strategies
– Writing complex RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs
– Negotiating with customers for quality-driven expectations
– Facilitating sourcing projects of varying complexity
– Serving as main point of contact for sourcing initiatives
– Providing seamless Procurement support
– Utilizing industry leading practices for cost and quality balance
– Directly supervising others or leading sourcing projects
– Supporting supplier diversity and other organizational objectives

The salary range for this position is: $89,000 – $315,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
