Description:To use jigs and fixtures, rivet upsetting and bench assembly equipment and hand tools. To use rules, squares, protractors and dividers. To read and interpret detail, assembly and installation blueprints or other authorized documents to obtain assembly and installation information and material callouts. To use arithmetic including decimals and fractions. To work to tolerances as required for the type of work described herein.

Basic Qualifications:
Requires twelve months previous experience in production assembly-type work or mechanical experience such as HVAC, Automotive, Construction, or bench assembly.
– Must be able to read assembly blueprints
– Must be familiar with basic hand tools
– Must perform and pass required Proficiency Demonstrations
Desired Skills:
Sheetmetal experience
Drilling experience
Technical experience similar to Auto mechanic/auto body repair, HVAC technician, construction experience
Bench Assembly experience
Clearance Level: None

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week
