A Program Security Representative (PSR) is responsible for overseeing and executing security policies and guidelines on behalf of a classified program’s customer (often a government entity that has contracted Lockheed Martin (LM) to perform a service or design/build an asset). Appointed PSRs are considered security generalists, coordinating multiple areas of the security discipline, and are ultimately responsible for the oversight of all program security activities.
PSRs are the enablers of classified programs. While there are many employee functions working towards winning contracts for LM Space, PSRs are the main conduit to allow for classified program activities to be awarded by ensuring compliance with government or customer-driven regulations, policies, or directives. While there are many security disciplines that work together towards a common mission, the PSR acts as the primary security specialist for the classified program(s) as assigned.
Using the 32 CFR Part 117 (National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)) as the main source of guidance, the PSR acts as the industry contractor delegated responsibility for working to implement applicable requirements of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) in coordination with customers and various government entities (who could be either the customer or a government oversight authority such as the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA).
PSRs ensure:
• Contractual security requirements are met
• Personnel and visitors with a clearance and need-to-know are granted access to classified materials
• Personnel are educated regarding security requirements, procedures, and policies
• Security incidents are investigated in a timely manner
• Security audits are conducted and supported
• Protection of classified assets during transmission
• Operations Security (OPSEC) and Program Protection standards are met
• Business-minded and risk-managed solutions are applied to security issues

– Usage of Lenel Badging Systems
– Classified visit processing and subcontractor support
– Transmission of classified materials (Shipping and Courier requirements)
– Compliance requirements associated with Open Storage Areas

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $57,400 – $101,200. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
