This Inten position is within the Wound Closure Topical Skin Adhesive (TSA) platform and includes some or all of the following responsibilities:
- Working directly on a new product development team with cross-functional team members.
- Hands-on laboratory work in a chemistry or engineering lab.
- Performing studies and developing test methods and fixtures.
- Good documentation practices, including writing test protocols, generating final reports, and documenting meeting minutes.
- Crafting and evaluating prototypes.
- Attending and participating in voice-of-customer (VOC) labs.
- Collaborating with engineers and outside suppliers to support project related activities.
Qualifications
- Be enrolled (not necessarily taking classes) in an accredited college/university during the Co-op session.
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biology, or a related technical field.
- Only students who have completed their freshman year or above will be considered.
- For co-ops, availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the Co-op session.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership and/or participation in campus programs and/or community service activities is desired.
- A high level of organization and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Be comfortable working independently, as well as on a team.
- Proficient in lab-based chemistry activities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Power Point, and have strong oral and written communication skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States and not require future sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1-B status) now or in the future.
- Ability to provide their own transportation to this work location.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
22$ per hour to 51.50$ per hour
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The anticipated base pay for this position is between 22$ per hour and 51.50$ per hour but will be based on candidate’s program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. This position is overtime eligible. Intern/Co-ops may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as medical insurance, sick time, holiday pay, and the Company’s consolidated retirement plan in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans. Housing stipend will be offered for those that qualify. This position is ineligible for severance.
