We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our dynamic team at a prominent healthcare facility in Houston, Texas.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy to pediatric patients in a hospital setting.
• Perform ventilation management, aerosol therapy, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory care interventions.
• Conduct thorough assessments, adapting respiratory care plans based on each patient’s evolving needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective communication and patient-centered care.
• Maintain meticulous documentation according to facility protocols and regulatory standards.
• Provide prompt, critical respiratory support in emergency situations as required.

Requirements:

• Certification: Current NBRC certification.
• Experience: Previous experience in pediatric inpatient respiratory care is essential, with strong clinical competencies in both routine and emergency respiratory procedures.
• Skills: Proficiency in advanced respiratory techniques, with the ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations.

Position Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks, with potential for extension.
• Schedule: Night shifts; specific hours and additional shift details will be confirmed during the interview process. Includes rotation of weekends and holiday coverage as necessary.
