Are you a compassionate and skilled nurse ready to make a significant impact in critical care? We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team and provide exceptional care to our patients in their most critical moments.


About the Role:

As an ICU RN, you will:

  • Deliver both direct and indirect nursing care to critically ill patients with precision and empathy.
  • Utilize your in-depth knowledge of departmental and hospital policies to ensure the highest standard of emergency care.
  • Employ your interpretive skills and engage in frequent interactive and consultative associations with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities


  • Facilitates, implements, and evaluates the Patient Plan of Care and outcomes in collaboration with the health care team.
  • Technical Skills.
  • Critical Thinking.
  • Prioritization.
  • Equipment Operation. Initiative.
  • Evaluates test results reported immediately.
  • Assess patient safety facts and identifies those patients requiring specific safety devices. Documents patient assessments accurately and correctly within the specified time at admission, transfer, and discharge.
  • Collects adequate and correct blood/urine specimens from patients as ordered by physicians, using proper technique and equipment.
  • Correctly labels specimens and processes. Ensures appropriate delivery of specimens to the lab via courier or specimen pick up from outside agencies.
  • Educational needs of patient. Documents assessment on multidisciplinary form and modifies as needed.


Qualifications


Minimum one year Emergency Department or Critical Care experience prefered.

Credentials

Essential:
* RN – Registered Nurse
* BLS – Basic Life Saving certification
* ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support
* NIH – Stroke Certification

* RN Diploma/RN Graduate Program

Beebe is also training the next generation of nurses through the Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing, located behind the Medical Center in Lewes.

Beebe’s Medical Staff has grown tremendously since the early 1990s. Employed physicians through Beebe Medical Group and our affiliated physicians on Beebe’s Medical Staff now serve patients from Milford to Millville in specialties including cardiac surgery, dermatology, endocrinology, family practice, gastroenterology, general surgery, internal medicine, pediatric neurology, and surgical oncology.
