  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous review of applications, supporting documents, and other information to identify potential red flags or inconsistencies.

  • Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication to interact with clients, agents, brokers, and other stakeholders.

  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in relevant software and systems used for underwriting and data analysis.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards governing underwriting practices.
  • Property Underwriting: Knowledge of property and casualty insurance principles, coverages, and risk factors.
  • Time Management: The ability to meet deadlines and manage workload effectively.
  • Teamwork: Collaboration with colleagues, underwriters, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient underwriting processes.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to changing underwriting guidelines, market conditions, and technological advancements.

    • Degree in Business or Finance
    • 2+ years of Experience
    • CFA Exam(s) a strong Plus
