Seasonal Bartender (PT) – Dock & Drink

Bartenders are responsible for providing libations and offering customized recommendations. The right person should be familiar with the latest in mixology, bar equipment, and sanitation standards, with a focus on maintaining an attractive bar. This position offers opportunity for casual conversation, creativity and allows for building on one’s style and previous bartending experiences. Preferred candidates will have understanding of state and local serving guidelines. To be successful, our Dock & Drink Bartender will perform in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely, and professional manner resulting in a very high level of guest satisfaction.

Wage Information:

The salary for this position is $20.90 plus applicable tips.

Qualifications

Must be able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays

Minimum 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages

• Ability to obtain local food handlers and alcohol serving permits prior to being placed on the work schedule.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills (for menu presentation, promotions, engaging with guests, and interacting with colleagues, etc).
• Confidence in knowledge of menu and beverage (alcohol, beer and wine) offerings.
• Attention to detail in all aspects of the role (as it relates to service, pre and post shift work, cash handling).
• Ability to foster a positive working relationship with departmental and support role colleagues to enhance teamwork.
• Knowledge of POS and reservations systems.
• Available to work all shifts.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
