Security Officer – 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Education

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

Experience

•  2+ years within the security field preferred.

Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations

• De-Escalation and restraint training obtained during orientation period and maintained.

Skills and Abilities

• Proven experience as security officer or guard.
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
• Familiarity with report writing.
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
• Emotional control/De-escalation skills.
• Integrity.
• Safety Management.

 Physical Demands:

This position may require lifting of objects that exceed 50 pounds, with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Other physical demands that may be required are as follows:

1. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
2. Pushing and/or pulling.
3. Running, walking, climbing and/or balancing.
4. Stooping and/or kneeling.
5. Reaching.
6. Normal working environment with minor physical discomfort due to outside weather conditions.
