JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sr. IT Analyst will participate in the Broadcast Operations Team. The Broadcast Operations Team is primarily charged with IT support of Fox Sports Media Group live events, support of Fox Sports Field Operations, and Fox Sports employees and talent, both on the road, and in the office.
The team is comprised of Subject Matter Experts for the iNews system and applications used during broadcasts. Works in a fast-paced live broadcast environment. Works in office, studio, outside, in trailers, theaters, hotel conference rooms, anywhere the broadcast takes them. Travel up to 50% of the time, up to 1000 working hours/per year on the road, may be required. Willingness to work very early, late, overnight shifts a necessity.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Travel up to 50% may be required
- The ability to work early/ late shifts as business demands will be required on an everyday basis. Ex. 4AM-1PM, 6PM-3AM
- Willingness to work extensive overtime. Infrequently, 18-hour days are required due to support and travel happening on the same day
- May be required to carry cell phone for on-call support
- Manage personal as well as team workload to ensure projects and tasks are completed in a manner in accordance with management guidelines
- Troubleshoot root cause of IT problems
- Distill high quantities of feedback and information gathered from staff and clients into actionable recommendations
- Maintain control in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where response times need to be fast and results accurate
- Maintain a high-level of customer service and satisfaction
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Functional understanding of networking and server technologies (Active Directory, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, WAN/LAN, VPN, Switches, Routers, Firewalls. Microsoft BackOffice, and Windows)
- PC / MAC computer support experience required
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with SLACK, BOX, G-Suite
- Quick learner with ability to learn complex procedures within a short period
- Self-starter able to complete tasks with minimal instruction and supervision
- Ability to communicate complex technical ideas verbally and in written form to customers and management
- Ability to balance the management of multiple support duties
- Excellent ability to maintain and develop relationships with internal customers
- Demonstrated advanced technical troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $36.00-51.45 per hour for high cost labour markets such as but not limited to New York City and Los Angeles, $30.00-42.75 per hour for all other US locations. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
