This role is based in the Pharma Technical Operations division, which is dedicated to manufacturing and delivering innovative medicines to patients. We operate with a holistic approach, which means that we manage our product portfolio from concept through development and market launch to phase-out. The Opportunity:

As an integrated part of Pharma Technical Operations, your main focus will be Leading Administration Activities for Contract Development & Manufacturing Organizations (CDMO) and Leading Matrix team of Administrative assistants.


  • You support the achievements of the project goals, identify problems, coordinate Sr Leadership site visits with Chapter Leaders and Senior Leaders across the Pharma Division, organize/coordinate regional and global meetings.
  • You are responsible for general office responsibilities that include but are not limited to: Schedule travel, and process payment and expense reports for senior leaders in the organization, and facilitate obtaining travel documentation (e.g. visas).
  • You create structured project status reports for communication to senior leadership and beyond, resulting in sustainable impact for our patients globally.
  • You coordinate with all relevant stakeholders regularly. In addition to driving administrative support excellence, you expand your network to grow at Roche and develop your individual career path.


Who you are:

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering or related subject. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 10 years of Administrative Services experience.
  • You are characterized by a high level of social competence and are able to accurately record and efficiently communicate in English.


Preferred:

  • Exceptionally qualified applicants with many years of Sr Administrative experience but without an advanced degree are also encouraged to apply.
  • Prior Pharmaceutical Administration experience.
  • You are known for your motivation as well as your independent yet collaborative working style.
  • A strong understanding of the market and environment combined with the ability to define strategic goals and to achieve them with a high level of initiative complete your profile.

Relocation benefits are not available for this posting

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $105,600 to $196,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
