OVERVIEW:
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Provide direction and guidance to our facilities managers on the repair and maintenance of elevators and escalators. Work with our vertical transportation contractors to maintain and repair existing equipment including scheduling capital projects, inspections, and regular maintenance. Work with construction project managers on the modernization scopes of new stores and remodels.
- Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute vertical transportation projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Collaborate with Construction, Store Planning, and Architecture on new stores and remodel vertical transportation project scopes and execution.
- Maintenance & Modernization: Oversee the regular maintenance and modernization of existing vertical transportation systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all vertical transportation systems comply with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.
- Customer Relations: Maintain strong relationships store teams, addressing their needs, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source parts and equipment, negotiate contracts, and manage inventory.
- Site Visits: Visit locations with contractors to ensure that the maintenance, repairs, and inspections are up to date and to evaluate the condition of the equipment for future capital project budgeting.
- Budgeting & Reporting: Develop and manage budgets for vertical transportation projects, and prepare regular reports on project status, mainenance activities, and financial performance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5-7 years experience in Vertical Transportation Industry with experience in management
- Qualified Elevator Inspector or Certified Elevator Technician preferred
- Microsoft Office
- Web-Based Vendor Dashboards
- CMMS Platforms
- Strong knowledge of elevator and escalator systems, codes, and regulations.

Targeted Pay Range: $95,200.00 – $158,800.00. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as: incentive, equity and benefits. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
