Boeing Defense, Space, and Security is seeking a Senior (Level 4) or Lead (Level 5) Procurement Agent to join our Air Dominance Proprietary 1 Supply Chain team in Berkeley, MO. The successful candidate will be part of a high-performing, cross-functional team focused on building next generation, state-of-the-art capability while also working to integrate program, customer and product, strategies into the procurement process, in an effort to drive successful execution of the Program.

The individual will support supply chain strategy development while working to understand the inter-relationships between subcomponents of systems and plans as well as their overall impact on the Supply Chain and Program. Collaboration with Engineering, Finance, and other Program personnel will be required to support strategic initiatives, mitigate risk, identify process improvements, and engage in many other innovative activities in support of the Program.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
• Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions
• Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements
• Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions
• Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues
• Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities
• Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• More than 5 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management.
• More than 5 years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts.
• More than 5 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• More than 5 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
• More than 5 years of experience working on U.S. Department of Defense contracts

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range:

Senior, Level 4: $95,200 – $117,600

Lead, Level 5: $117,300 – $144,900
