Your New Role…


This Senior Program Manager will be a key player in the seamless day-to-day operations of our localization and globalization efforts, driving process improvements to support global launches and tooling. This organized self-starter will partner with Product leaders, Legal teams, and other regional stakeholders to ensure that localization and translation tasks are effectively planned, tracked, and delivered on time. This individual will leverage their localization and globalization industry expertise to ensure our processes and practices are leading us to great success as an organization, staying ahead of the curve.

You will oversee multiple localization and globalization projects simultaneously, ensuring adequate resourcing, balanced workloads, and timely, high-quality outputs. You are fluent in project management processes, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and relish taking ownership of projects. You understand project management guidelines but also have the creative ability to customize the processes for faster delivery given varying conditions. You’re comfortable operating in an atmosphere that is dynamic and sometimes ambiguous, creating structure when and where it’s needed.



The ideal candidate is ready to collaborate across various business groups and can adapt quickly to new business and technological needs while ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential. You will use your influence and relationship-building skills to provide strategic insight to cross-functional teams and leadership to drive Max’s product expansion globally.

To maximize your impact, you’ll also focus on building in-person relationships with key Business and Product stakeholders in London. This in-person engagement will foster deeper collaboration, alignment, and a stronger understanding of regional priorities, ensuring that our globalization efforts resonate well within each market.



Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Leverage established processes within the Product Operations team and WBD to efficiently track and manage localization projects in JIRA, Lokalise, and other relevant tools, ensuring visibility and consistency.
  • Apply industry knowledge on best localization tools, vendors, processes, and practices for the betterment of the organization and our ways of working.
  • Proactively collaborate with partners to create, manage, and accelerate Localization project timelines, anticipating and resolving potential bottlenecks.
  • Utilize critical and strategic thinking skills to formulate quick, effective workarounds and address issues as they arise, maintaining project momentum.
  • Continuously establish and refine program and project management processes, optimizing them to suit evolving team needs and streamline operations.
  • Build trusted partnerships with all project team members, stakeholders, and key partners, focusing on fostering clear communication, alignment, and accountability.
  • Generate and deliver concise, transparent reports that convey project status, identifying any risks, blockers, or progress towards project goals.
  • Oversee the entire end-to-end translation lifecycle, ensuring that localized content-across UI, CX, pricing plans, subscription journeys, transactional emails, and more-is delivered accurately and on time for WBD’s global expansion initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to construct comprehensive work-back plans for all major milestones and commitments, facilitating meetings, tracking notes and action items, holding teams accountable to their deliverables, and providing clear updates on translation progress for new country and language rollouts.

Qualifications & Experience…


  • Minimum of five years of experience in project management, with a demonstrated track record of driving projects from planning through successful completion.
  • Expertise in localization operations and strategy, including localization program management or internationalization experience, ideally within a global or multilingual context.
  • Proven ability to operate independently and effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous, and cross-functional environments, excelling in project execution, multitasking, and continuous business process improvement.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain trusted partnerships with team members and client stakeholders, including a focus on developing in-person relationships with key Business and Product stakeholders in London to enhance alignment with regional objectives.
  • Solid experience managing digital and web-based (.com) projects, ensuring effective execution and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Proficiency in collaboration and issue-tracking tools, such as Airtable, Asana, Smartsheet, JIRA, and Confluence, with an aptitude for learning new tools as needed.
  • Familiarity with localization software like Crowdin or Lokalise is a plus, contributing to the effective management of multilingual content.
  • Demonstrated strengths in communication, presentation, facilitation, and negotiation, with a focus on aligning cross-functional teams around project objectives.
  • Ability to stay focused on project goals and drive results, regardless of external business conditions or changes in the larger organizational environment.
  • Experience establishing processes to facilitate clear stakeholder communication, project tracking, and timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Additional language skills are a bonus, supporting our commitment to effective localization and global engagement.
