Boeing Defense, Space, and Security is seeking a Senior Supplier Program Management Specialist (Level 5) to join our Air Dominance Proprietary 1 Supply Chain team in Hazelwood, MO. The Supplier Program Management Specialist joining the team will be part of a high-performing, cross-functional team building next generation, state-of-the-art capability while supporting the integration of program, customer and product to drive successful execution of the program.



The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for development of new parts and suppliers from specification refinement, source selection, design reviews, part qualifications, to production for complex assemblies and parts for program. Will also interact with other Supply Chain, Engineering, and Program personnel to support strategic initiatives, risk mitigation, process improvements and many other innovative activities for the Program.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversees technical and business guidance to critical suppliers and programs.
  • Leads strategic supply chain activities to manage work with suppliers and programs.
  • Manages all aspects of supplier and stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases.
  • Leads supplier assessments and the development of recovery plans, corrective and preventative actions.
  • Leads the development of company or business unit procurement strategies.
  • Provides oversight, guidance and verification of work movement projects.
  • Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders.
  • Manages work movement plans.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):


  • Technical Bachelor’s, Master’s or a PhD degree. (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study)
  • More than 5 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance
  • More than 5 years of experience in program management within supplier management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • More than 5 years of experience working in Supply Chain Management, Finance or Program Management
  • More than 5 years of experience with proposal development and contract negotiations
  • More than 5 years of experience in root cause analysis and Corrective action

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $128,350 – 158,550 USD
