What You Will Learn:


The Sr Analyst, Finance – Commercial is a key member of the Finance organization, responsible for providing strategic controlling support and partnership to the sales organization. The position will oversee all CPD brands (L’Oreal Paris, Maybelline, Garnier, Essie, NYX, Carol’s Daughter, Softsheen Carson, and Thayers), across several accounts within the Specialty and Food & Value channels. They are responsible for sales P&L management across all categories for budgets, trends, and actuals reporting, and will get exposure to full customer P&L’s, helping to drive overall profitability.

Responsibilities:


  • Partner closely with sales and cross-functional teams to provide financial support to assist strategic decision-making and drive business performance
  • Monitor and maintain full year trade spending expenses and identify opportunities and risks to plans
  • Trend and budget P&L construction with focus on sales and customer allowances
  • Analyze and provide financial insight on sell out and sell in, inventory levels
  • Lead monthly financial review meetings with business partners to review state of business results, budgets, and strategic hot topics
  • Responsible for the analysis of various reporting requirements, i.e. month close, trends/budgets
  • Support retail negotiations with full customer P&L scenarios to guide critical investment decisions for the CPD portfolio
  • Liaison with deduction resolution team for AR management
  • Lead ad-hoc financial analysis and strategic projects

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:


Education/Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience in finance preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required. MBA/CPA preferred.
  • Consumer products industry experience preferred.


Skills:

  • Strong computer skills required; must have expert-level experience with Excel and Word.
  • Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, business acumen, leadership skills, oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
  • Must have the ability to interact with all levels of management.

Additional Benefits Information As Follows:


Salary Range : $84,500 – $120,400 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
