Sr. Emergency Preparedness Coordinator

Position Summary

This position will manage the programmatic review of emergency plan requirements for the Nuclear Department.

Essential Responsibilities

• Interface with state/county emergency management officials and federal regulatory agencies on EP matters.
• Assist in revision to emergency plan and associated procedures.
• Aid in the conduct of drills and exercises including performance indicators.
• Coordinating the selection of Emergency Response organization members.
• Participate in state, county, federal, industry and peer meetings and workshops.
• Manage the programmatic review of emergency plan exercises and scenario development.
• Assist in EP training as a subject matter expert.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma and seven years of relevant commercial nuclear power plant experience, or Associates Degree and five years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience.
• Relevant experience preferred is defined as employment in Radiation Protection, Chemistry, Operations, or Emergency Preparedness.
• Integrated plant knowledge and response is desired.

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $82,800.00 to $117,600.00 per year
