Now is your chance to join our talented Marketing Compliance team to help ensure DX advertising and data practices are compliant with legal and regulatory standards.
This position collaborates with legal teams to develop compliance guidelines, manage contracts, and implement data governance policies in support of marketing and advertising efforts across Disney Experiences. Understanding of AdTech ecosystems and advertising technology is a must. This role will report to the Manager, Marketing Compliance.
What You Will Do:
- Maintain centralized legal and privacy queue for both domestic and international Disney Experiences (DX) advertising and marketing platforms and data usage.
- Spearhead contract negotiations and reviews in partnership with legal teams, including Service Agreements, Non-Disclosures, data usage, privacy and security terms.
- Lead vendor platform communications, focusing on legal, privacy, data usage, and security.
- Manage privacy risk assessments and ongoing privacy compliance monitoring activities in partnership with legal teams.
- Ensure compliance and regulations for all campaigns in collaboration with internal teams.
- Communicate effectively with marketing and legal compliance teams regarding third-party ad platforms.
- Document and maintain guidelines for ad platforms and data partnerships.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging data tools, technologies, and regulations specifically related to the adoption of AI in advertising and data management tools.
- Assist with implementation and maintenance of privacy and data protection policies and standard operating procedures for GDPR, CCPA and other emerging domestic and global privacy laws.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in legal, data governance, marketing compliance, digital marketing, or advertising media.
- Understanding of AdTech ecosystems and advertising technology.
- Knowledge of digital ad serving, tracking, and implementation.
- Detailed-oriented, strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid technical writing and documentation abilities.
- Experience in contractual negotiations and processes.
- Experience with digital data collection and privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Adobe Workfront.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data requirements.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex systems and processes to marketing and legal teams.
