We are looking for a proven Staff Accountant to oversee and perform a variety of accounting duties such as, but not limited to, day-to-day bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, daily deposits, data entry etc. who will work closely with the controller. This position offers a forward-thinking candidate intragenerational mobility.
Candidate must possess:
· Bachelor degree in accounting is a minimum.
· Proven work experience in an accounting/bookkeeping or similar role.
· Advanced knowledge of Excel (creating spreadsheets and using financial formulas).
· Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors.
· Great organizational, time-management and analytical thinking skills.
· Work independently with minimal supervision.
· Software Experience: Advanced MS Office.
QuickBooks, SAP and JD Edwards a plus
· Wholesale Distributor/Direct sales accounting knowledge helpful.
· Great interpersonal and verbal communication skills
· Strong attention to detail.
