The Product & Engineering team within Workforce Technology focuses on integrations between various HCM systems. The team comprises of software engineers dedicated to building solutions that help automate HR processes, improve end user experience and improve data integrity between various HR systems that drive payroll processing, benefit enrollments, time & absence recording, reporting and other analytical dashboards.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead SAP BTP Architectural implementation for internal HR process on systems such as SAP, SuccessFactors, etc.
  • Responsible for delivering sustainable and secure solutions leveraging SAP BTP integration services to customers throughout the company and as needed for specific regions and segments of The Walt Disney Company
  • Analyze, design, build, test and debug applications for system integrations
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with respect to SAP BTP, ABAP and related technology and its features
  • Mentor and guide other team members to develop and deliver technical solutions
  • Build trustworthy client & peer relationships, influence stakeholder decisions, mentor junior team members and collaborate with vendor teams


Must Haves:

  • Minimum 7+ years experience working on SAP BTP, SAP ABAP or similar SAP technology
  • Minimum 7+ years hands-on experience implementing BTP and its catalog of services
  • Minimum 7 years of experience developing in SAP BTP using the Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Open Connectors, Integration Advisor, SAP API Business Hub)
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience with some of the following specific technologies: OData, REST, SOAP, IDoc, FTP/SFTP, JDBC, CSV, XML, JSON, Java, XSL, Javascript, encryption standards such as PGP and x509
  • Minimum 7 years of experience with HCM/HR systems and processes
  • Expertise in comprehensive testing lifecycle inclusive of Unit Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing, and Defect Remediation.
  • Comfortable with Agile and Waterfall development lifecycles for project deliveries
  • Experience with software development lifecycle methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.
  • Expertise in secure software development and secure coding practices
  • Ability to translate business requirements into software technical specifications
  • Act as a liaison between business and technology teams
  • Keep abreast with latest technologies and share knowledge with team members & peers
  • Problem solver, analytical and results driven with innovative thinking
  • Good communication and presentation skills, both oral and written. Able to interact with various levels within a project team.
  • Able to collaborate and work effectively with different team members as part of a matrix organization
  • Able to prioritize and multitask between assignments as needed by the business and team deliverable requirements
  • Works independently under minimal guidance


Nice To Haves:

  • Familiarity and experience with SAP HANA Cloud
  • SAP BTP Artificial Intelligence experience
  • SAP Joule
  • Integrating with Google Cloud Platform and other middleware applications such as Informatica, webMethods, etc.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience


The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $152,200 to $204,100 per year and in Seattle, WA is $159,500.00, to $213,900.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
