As a Director in the Enterprise Strategy and Value team, you will advise C-level Pharma and Life Sciences executives on their toughest business challenges. You will work as part of a team of problem solvers of complex business issues from strategy to execution. You will help bring clients industry-leading capabilities from across the Firm to drive their growth and digital strategies while affecting transformational change. Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities as a team leader with leadership, strategic and creative thinking, problem solving, individual initiative, emphasizing the following abilities:

  • Demonstrate thought leader-level knowledge of and/or success in professional services or corporate roles, helping in the oncology therapeutic area, Pharma and Life Sciences companies define and evaluate their enterprise and digital strategies to drive new growth;
  • Demonstrate thought leader-level leadership, strategic and creative thinking, problem solving, individual initiative and a track record of high impact consulting;
  • Partner with C-Suite executives in leading, structuring and executing major strategic initiatives;
  • Experience with pharma / biotech organizations or roles in oncology healthcare institutions / academic medical centers / biopharma / payer organizations;
  • Lead medium to large teams of high performing individuals;
  • Lead multiple client engagements in parallel with consultant teams generally of 3 – 10 members each;
  • Build client relationships with C-level executives and maintain those relationships over multiple years;
  • Lead and support business development – relationship development, proposal development and delivery;
  • Counsel C-suite clients in designing, structuring and delivering major enterprise-wide transformation programs;
  • Lead and contribute to thought leadership and market activation;
  • Take on leadership roles in managing internal PwC initiatives ranging from people development, recruiting, company reputation building;
  • Build and develop diverse, high-performing teams that can deliver outstanding, high quality client service with speed and quality;
  • Play a key role in influencing careers projections, career development plans and talent assessment for the teams you manage and the directly reporting tree;
  • Communicate with clarity and specificity both horizontally, vertically and orally to motivate c-suite clients and teams and move them to action; and,
  • Navigate the broad array of PwC capabilities, especially digital transformation, to bring the Firm’s industry-leading practices to each client and develop client loyalty.

The salary range for this position is: $148,000 – $317,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
