Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking Structural Analysis Engineers (Entry-Level, Associate, Mid-Level, or Senior) with knowledge of aircraft stress analysis methods and engineering principles to support our aircraft and weapons programs in Berkeley, MO.
BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Entry-Level, Associate, Mid-Level and Senior level Structural Analysis Engineers.
Position Responsibilities:
- Performing detailed structural analysis to determine structural integrity (margins of safety), using classical techniques and Boeing tools. This analysis can support production, responses to customer inquiries, service bulletin development, failure investigation, regulatory agency coordination and show compliance with regulatory requirements
- Providing guidance on structural design and configuration development
- Create trade studies to optimize the structure and meet program requirements
- Work with the team to integrate component-level structural models and perform integrated analysis, using finite element methods, to develop internal loads and stresses in order to verify structural integrity
- Document structural analyses and data required to show compliance with Boeing, customer, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in the resolution of technical, operational, and quality issues that cannot be resolved by the customer (internal and external)
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- Ability to support occasional domestic travel to support our customers
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Level 2: 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Level 3: 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Levels 4: 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years’ of relevant experience with aircraft stress/structural analysis
- 3+ years’ experience in Finite Element Methods specifically the ability to independently construct, execute, review, and manage finite element models
- 3+ years’ of experience with hand (classical) structural analysis
- Experience with Hypermesh, Abaqus CAE, PATRAN, and/or NASTRAN
- Experience validating or verifying finite element model results

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range for Entry-Level: $65,450 – $88,550
Summary Pay Range for Associate Level: $76,500 – $103,500
Summary Pay Range for Mid-Level Level: $95,200 – $128,800
Summary pay range for Senior Level: $115,600 – $156,400
