The Project Management Executive manages large projects or multiple projects from pre-booking to customer acceptance. They supervise, direct, and motivate the project team during planning, estimating, design, installation, start-up, commissioning, turnover, and warranty of assigned projects. Through their work, they ensure customer satisfaction during and at final project completion.

As a Project Management Executive, you will:


  • Provide overall direction and strategic leadership for construction and development projects.
  • Assist in project development. Analyze scope of work. Follow up with project Lead EE to assure understanding and satisfaction of job scope.
  • Ensure project deliverables align with the client’s project vision and expectations
  • Manage project-wide risks proactively in collaboration with the project team and client stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders – interacting and communicating with customers at an executive level. Plan, lead, and document project meetings with customers and subcontractors on a regular basis. Provide internal reporting to Siemens leadership.
  • Negotiate contracts and resolve disputes. Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with high quality and safety standards.
  • Prepare or oversee preparation of engineering re-estimate reports. Utilize financial and monthly forecasting to manage and contain costs. Develop a cost control plan with team members and management to monitor, manage and control costs. Prepare or oversee preparation of progress billings, pursue timely payments from the customer and authorize payments to material suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Participate in job site final walk-thru and manages the completion of all close-out documentation such as As-Built drawings and system operating instructions; transfers or returns excess materials; final billings, collections, and payments; and all project records.
  • Manage relationships with subcontracting partners, product vendors and clients.
  • Become familiar with local performance contracting enabling legislation.
  • Supervise project teams, including senior project managers, project managers, superintendents, subject matter experts, vendors and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate resources (internal and external such subcontractors) to complete a successful start-up and commissioning of the systems to the end user.
  • Prepare or oversee subcontractor scopes of work. Obtain subcontractor bids. Evaluate subcontractor proposals with the development team members. Select reliable subcontractors to provide electrical, plumbing, lighting, mechanical, specialized construction, or other services.
  • Monitor and report on project progress and identifies potential problems early on.
  • Manage resources effectively, including materials, equipment, and personnel.
  • Ensure high levels of engagement with all project team members, both internal and external as well as compliance with safety regulations, client standards, building codes, and company policies.
  • Lead pre-bid reviews and sales to operations turnover meetings to evaluate accuracy of the project estimate and schedule.
  • Mentor/coach less experienced Project Managers, Associate PMs and Engineers during development of a sustainability project and then construction of the project.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail. Manage multiple projects with potentially changing deadlines.
  • Travel when required

Basiq Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or GED
  • 7+ years of successful experience in project leadership
  • Must be able to demonstrate:
    • Knowledge of general construction, HVAC systems, building control systems, lighting, building envelope, and domestic water systems. Knowledge of common HVAC and electrical building codes. Ability to understand mechanical and electrical blueprints.
    • Knowledge of industry fundamentals and business operations
    • Contracting skills; An understanding of job financial reports and the ability to apply these in managing assigned projects; Strong leadership, listening, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, MS Project, Power Point, and Excel.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with limited violations
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management
  • PMI PMP or PMI PgMP Certification. PMP Certification must be obtained within one year of start of employment.

  • The pay range for this position is $135,000-$185,000 and the annual incentive target is 15%. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
