The Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team is in search of a System Integration Lead. The All-Up-Round (AUR) Integration Responsible Systems Engineer (RSE)
As the All-Up-Round (AUR) Integration Responsible Systems Engineer (RSE), you will be responsible for bringing Electrical Design, Mechanical Design, Software Design, Architecture, including major subsystem MSV, KV, Booster, and Support designs into an Integrated NGI AUR System.
This role manages the multi-disciplined engineering team responsible for designing and certifying missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to conflict.
The NGI Integration RSE will be badged to the NGI IPT Lead and have responsibility for ensuring the NGI System Design is closes across multiple stakeholders. This will include:
• Serves as the technical lead for the integration of the NGI AUR
• Lead and coordinate with a complex, multidisciplinary team of engineers, which includes but is not limited to representation from Aero, Thermal, Separation Dynamics, Loads, Stress, Trajectory Design, NG&C, FSW, Mechanical Design, Mechanical Integration, Initiation, Instrumentation / Telemetry, TPS, and Ground Test
• Conduct regular working meetings, maintain a schedule, and track action item closure
• Establish proper configuration and version control during rapid modeling revisions
• Ensure sufficient analytical predictions are issued ahead of flight test to support the immediate post-flight analyses, post-flight model correlation, and eventual model validation as allowed by the flight test data
• Orchestrate trade studies to inform changes to hardware configuration and design as well as mission architecture in order to improve robustness and reliability.
• Support the identification, derivation, verification and validation of requirements
• Identify, maintain, and mitigate risks associated with the AUR development
• Coordinate and conduct frequent Customer and Sr. Leadership briefings, as required

Basic Qualifications:
• Technical degree(s) from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and training.
• Missile Development Technical Leadership Experience
• Experience collaborating and leading multi-functional teams
• Active or Current DoD Secret Security Clearance; US Citizenship
Desired Skills:
• Strong Interpersonal Skills
• NGI and GMD experience and technical knowledge
• Experience throughout engineering lifecycle (system definition, design, build, test, and operational deployment)
• Significant experience in one or more Systems Engineering functions including Requirements Development, M&S, Performance Analysis, or System Design & Integration
• Experience with Missile Defense Agency Customer
• Experience with Digital Engineering/Digital Transformation
• Experience in leading strategic enterprise initiatives
• Active or Current DoD TS/SCI security clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9×80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $144,600 – $255,070. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $166,400 – $288,305. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
