Salary: $100,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year

Hours: 40 hours per week

Tax Manager Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities for the organization or clients.
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, or partnerships.
• Review and approve tax returns and related documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
• Stay updated on tax law changes and their potential impact on the business or clients, researching complex tax issues as needed.
• Coordinate with tax authorities during audits and ensure any requested documentation is provided promptly.
• Supervise junior tax staff, review their work, and provide guidance or training where needed.
• Maintain communication with clients or internal departments regarding tax issues, deadlines, and strategies.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, ensuring they reflect tax liabilities correctly and align with regulations.
• Maintain organized tax files and records for future reference and audits.

Tax Manager Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Active CPA license
• 5-7 years of experience in public accounting tax work.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
