Process Overview
Fraud Prevention Application support dealing with fraud scoring for all Debit card, Credit card, Check Deposit & Online Banking transactions for consumer banking & few Small business products is performed before a decision is made.
Job Description
Individual will be responsible for taking the full ownership of L3 production support for assigned application, Conduct Root Cause Analysis, Comfortable with complex troubleshooting and On call rotation is required, Participate/host calls independently with onshore business and technology team.
The ideal candidate must be highly self-motivated, proactive, attention to detail, good mentor & leader with strong communication & management skills to interact with partners and Other Prod Support teams like L1, L2, L3, Application and Business stakeholders as required. Ability to think of process improvements to improve platform stability and resiliency.
Responsibilities
- Participate in production support activities such as Data analysis, Remedy incidents, Releases, High severity issues, health check, Splunk query analysis, DR activity, Triage Support and daily/weekly reports
- Will be a Single point of contact for supporting an application.
- To take care of application Sev1/Sev2/Sev3 issues and drive to closure.
- Proven capabilities in MTTR Reduction and Incident Resolution time reduction.
- Production application incident management
- Monitor and take care of daily batch cycle and health checks of application.
- Production problem research and issue resolution
- Review production changes, setup/update monitoring for changes
- Improve application stability and reduce noise/errors
- Release & deployment support even during weekends.
- Communicate with peers and supervisors routinely, document work, meetings, and decisions
- Work closely with LOB and interfacing team to understand and fix the issue in quick time.
- Working on automation and stability efforts.
Requirements
Education: B.E. / B. Tech/M.E. /M. Tech/B.Sc./M.Sc./BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)
Certifications, If Any –None
Experience Range 3 to 5 years
Foundational skills:
- Unix Shell Scripting knowledge with Cassandra and KAFKA.
- Experience in Unix, Java, Autosys, TOMCAT and JBOSS server environments.
- Experience with Actimize statistical analysis and SQL
- Experience in Heap dump and Thread dump analysis on JBOSS Environment
- Good understanding of traffic routing management using AppviewX (using GTM and LTM).
- Knowledge on Message Queue communication
- Good Understanding of JAVA code analysis
- Experience in L3 production support
- Good Communication skills
- Good understanding of SDLC process
- Understanding of Linux and Unix environment & commands -Required to effectively work on the issues
- Should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good documentation skills – Required to close the tickets and/or send updates/reports to various stakeholders
- Organizational and Multi-tasking skills
