Ultrasound Technologist Registered – Full Time – Evenings

In this role, the registered Ultrasound Tech will perform ultrasound examinations. You’ll have an exciting opportunity to warmly greet & welcome patients/visitors/staff & assist in performing exams when necessary. Additional duties include to assess patient condition, select proper transducer and adjustment of equipment according to the needs required for proper diagnostic testing, & ensure adherence to safety standards. This role will ensure the continued effective operation and patient care services in key departments, including Inpatient, Emergency Department, and Portables.

This is a full time position, located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist, working Monday – Friday from 4:00pm – 12:00am, including on-call requirements, and rotating weekends and holidays.

Required Criteria:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduate from an accredited program in ultrasound technology
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS)
• BCLS from AHA
• Demonstrated experience in patient care with training in Ultrasound
• If working in the Diagnostic Imaging Center, must have at least 3 years of direct ultrasound experience post training in General Sonography (ie Abdominal, Pelvic, Small Part) and Doppler interrogation (ie upper abdomen, female and male reproductive system) experience

Salary Range:

$51.38-$61.65/Hourly
