Your New Role…
The Vice President of Business Operations is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maximize revenue from CNN’s digital products and services while optimizing “whole user” revenue partnering with teams across CNN and Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD). This role will lead teams in managing critical partnerships and support executive decision-making through data-driven insights and strategic planning.
Your Role Accountabilities…
- Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue from CNN’s digital products and services, both on- and off-platform, in partnership with teams across CNN and WBD
- Partner with Data Science, Analytics and Insights, and Ad Sales teams to understand and optimize “whole user” revenue across multiple sources, formats, and surfaces
- Support executive decision-making and strategic planning process by preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews in collaboration with Strategy, Finance, and Data Science, Analytics & Insights teams
- Lead teams responsible for originating and managing operational and revenue-generating relationships with various partners, including content recommendation, direct response/performance marketing partners, advertising reseller, search and social, audio and podcast distribution partners.
Qualifications & Experience…
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred
- 12+ years of experience in digital media, business operations, or related fields
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful revenue growth strategies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable plans
- Experience in managing partnerships and vendor relationships in the digital media landscape
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication and presentation abilities, with experience presenting to senior executives
- Deep understanding of digital advertising, content monetization, and emerging revenue models in the media industry
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and methodologies
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and departments in a fast-paced environment

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $175,000.00 – $325,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
