The VP partners with executive leadership and other stakeholders to enhance the employee experience, support organizational growth, and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Total Rewards Strategy and Execution:
- Design and lead the development of a comprehensive total rewards strategy, including compensation, benefits, incentives, and recognition programs, aligned with business goals and market competitiveness.
- Evaluate and optimize compensation structures, salary banding, and job leveling to support equitable and competitive pay practices.
- Oversee benefits program design and management, including health and wellness plans, retirement programs, and ancillary benefits, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Lead annual compensation planning processes, including merit increases, bonus programs, and equity awards.
2. HR Operations and Process Improvement:
- Develop and oversee HR systems, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and employee satisfaction.
- Ensure HR operations, including payroll, compliance, and reporting, are accurate, timely, and in line with legal requirements.
- Monitor and manage vendor relationships, including payroll providers, HR technology platforms, and benefits administrators.
- Leverage HR analytics to provide insights, track key performance indicators, and inform strategic decision-making.
3. Leadership and Team Development:
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Mentor and coach HR operations and total rewards team members to enhance their professional growth and expertise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal, and IT, to ensure alignment of HR initiatives with broader organizational priorities.
4. Compliance and Governance:
- Stay current on regulatory changes and industry trends affecting compensation, benefits, and HR operations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and international labor laws.
- Implement and monitor risk mitigation practices for compensation and benefits programs.
5. Employee Engagement and Culture:
- Champion employee experience and engagement through effective reward systems and operational excellence.
- Drive initiatives that promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging within the organization.
- Ensure transparency in communication about total rewards programs, enabling employees to understand the full value of their compensation and benefits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus).
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with a focus on total rewards and HR operations.
- Expertise in compensation design, benefits administration, and HR operations, with a strong understanding of market trends and best practices.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, or similar platforms) and analytics tools.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working in global or multi-national organizations is highly desirable.
