Wellesley – Full Time Nanny (44 hours/week) – Early January Start (flexible)

• A welcoming family in Wellesley is searching for a professional full time nanny to begin in early January, though the start date is flexible as they are focused on finding the right match. They have two adorable children – a 2 year old and an infant (5 months). This position offers an incredibly competitive compensation and PTO package!
• The schedule for this position is M-Th 8am-6pm F 8am-12pm for 44 guaranteed hours/week. Some flexibility is requested to work longer shifts on occasion based on dad’s travel, with requests for this made in advance. Duties include all aspects of childcare, with a portion of the day focused on caring for both children and other times using a “divide and conquer approach” with mom so that each child receives 1:1 attention. Other tasks include facilitating playdates, planning outings, getting outdoors as often as possible, supporting overall growth and development, healthy children’s snack and meal preparation, children’s laundry, keeping playspaces tidy, and the occasional light errand.
• Ideal candidates have a minimum of 5 years of professional childcare experience, including a recent nanny placement with infants and toddlers, are open to traveling with the family 3-4 times per year, and have a strong understanding of child nutrition and healthy habits. Those who have a calm presence, a high degree of emotional intelligence, and experience navigating household dynamics with a stay at home parent will be given top priority. Current T-dap and flu vaccines are required.
